The Conservative Ladies Luncheon Club met at Powder Mills Hotel on Friday 27th November.

 

Gaynor Gough, Chairman, welcomed Dan Hannan who is well known for his views on defending our sovereignty and for his  recent very spirited speech in the European Parliament.

 

Dan gave a strong and very clear summary of his views on our current situation  with regards to Europe and the Treaty of Lisbon.

 

Judging by the applause and questions the event was stimulating and a very great success, as was the food and the venue
